The Chaucer College group (Shumei Eiko Ltd) has been an educational presence in Kent since the early 1990s. We are the British extension of an independent Japanese university and feeder schools.

Two of our three sites, Kingsgate (near Broadstairs) and Eversley (near Folkestone), are refurbished Victorian buildings set in their own grounds, catering for Japanese high school students. The third site, Chaucer College, is an award-winning purpose-built college on the University of Kent campus in Canterbury, welcoming Japanese university students.

Each of the colleges offers facilities for meetings, conferences and group accommodation, with classrooms, lecture rooms of various sizes and excellent IT backup. We can also provide catering to a very high standard. We would be very pleased to hear from you to discuss your individual requirements.
